We became regulars from day one (when we had no kitchen). They do the best cooked breakfast or fresh croissants and fruit salad for earlier in the day. The best surprise is you can go from cafe strip with music to (down the stairs) various cosy rooms, & venture further and you get a light conservatory and then classic tea room gardens! Quiche and salads for lunch crowd and regular evening meals now too. A glut of regular crowd for the poorly provided Brockley crowd. Friendly staff who take your name and don't treat you like a number.

Another Brockley classic, Toads Mouth serves the dietary needs of the local literati and student types with the minimum of fuss. Check the specials, and definetely get down there for Sunday lunch.
