Reviews for Man's Chinese Restaurant
I have been coming to this restaurant on and off over the last decade (or more), and unfortunately over the years it seems to have dropped its standards, not just in food, but in service. I've found some of the food to be just as you might get from a generic takeaway, nothing special. However I will say that the main dishes can be excellent, but not consistent. Maybe it's something to do with the younger staff, as they used to be on-the ball and personable. Now they seem to just rush you. It looks grand, but it's not representative of what really matters inside.
This restaurant has had quite a history of famous visitors (Marlon Brando, Cliff Richards, and more), of which you can see adorned on the walls. Not really relevant, but it shows you an interesting part of the restaurant's history.
