I shared a long lazy afternoon lunch here with a group of 8 friends. We sat out the back patio overlooking Mile End park, very leafy and pleasant view.
The manager was very friendly and helpful with explaining the dishes.
Food was tasty and wholesome and although we all arrived and ordered at different times, the food was served to all at the same time and without too long a wait.
BYO with no corkage was a very nice bonus on top of an all round great dining experience!
A shame to see it's always so quiet. Go, you won't be disappointed.

I visited Ariana on the weekend with family and was pleasantly surprised. We had seen the menu before going and it although it seems slightly basic, try not to be put off by it, we tried a sharing platter to start, which also accommodated a vegetarian. They cook the bread on a large hot plate on the premises which is extremely tasty, and although we weren't sure exactly what we were eating, the waiter was happy to explain the dishes. The main courses are plentiful and everything seems to be handled with a a bit of care and attention. Very relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, bring your own alcohol and a heated patio to enjoy hookah pipes. Well recommended and we'll certainly visit Ariana again.

A friend and I have just got home from dinner at Ariana Afghan and Iranian restaurant in Mile End. We were pleasantly surprised as I had walked past it several times so decided to give it a try. It had a lovely outdoor area which backed onto mile End park with patio heaters. The food portions were huge, tasty and reasonably priced. But best of all it was BYO and they didn't even charge corkage. Well worth a visit.
