Came across the Brill while waiting for a friend.
There's a bar downstairs which was a little quiet - but didn't mind as I was only having one beer. I tried a pint of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) beer - a very nice, malty English brew.
Went to meet my friend from King's Cross station and suggested we try the food back at the Brill.
What can I say,,, I had the most delicious chicken with mushrooms and asparagus followed by the best apple crumble ever! My friend had a goats cheese tart and she said it was fantastic.
The staff were friendly and provided a good service, but the best bit was the bill... dinner for 2 with a bottle of wine for £45!! Can't beat it. Highly recommended.
