Reviews for The Chippy
As I write I have a plate of chips and homemade chicken pie from The Chippy next to me. They are, to coin a phrase, spot on.
I've been to the Chippy a few times and it is what it says, but how you imagine it should be. Make sense?
It looks like a chippy. It's not trying to dress itself as anything other.
You can eat out the back, even have a beer or a glass of wine with your fried goods.

The batter - tick

Great selection of fish (Whole Skate for one), catch of the day (Coley today), mushy peas, home made fish cakes and pies. All present and accounted for.
It's even priced well.
It's only other central London contender, The Rock and Soul place, beats it on having some good outside seating in the summer months but not on any of the food.
Billy, owner/proprietor, has and has had some very successful pubs around Soho and has got it right again in. Recommended for your deep fried fix.
