A pleasant enough restaurant
I have visited Pride of Siam on a number of occasions, both at lunch and dinner time. Their 2 course express lunch deal is good value and they never have a problem if all you want to drink is tap water, something I appreciate and am grateful to not feel obliged to buy a drink for the sake of it.
However, I don’t think I would go there especially for a meal. There is nothing wrong with the food, service or the restaurant, which is quite spacious by London standards but to be honest for lunch I prefer the Thai van, also in Exmouth Market. As a sit down meal, this is a relatively inexpensive and pleasant restaurant but it just doesn’t have that wow factor for me.
