Tortilla is home to the best tacos and burritos in London. We don't do cactuses and oversized sombreros. We serve fresh, wholesome California-style Mexican cuisine for eat-in or take-away, for around a fiver. Choose from a range of toppings, including grilled chicken, adobo steak, braised pork (or vegetarian), whole black beans and pinto beans (not refried), fluffy Spanish rice, peppers & onions, savoury guacamole and crisp salsas - made fresh in-house every day. We have a range of soft drinks and Mexican beers to choose from as well as our tasty slushy margaritas. If you've been craving some decent Mexican food in London, you've found the right place.

Reviews for Tortilla

Friendly, quick service helps make this counter-service restaurant—which describes itself as "home of burrito"—a local favorite. Add guacamole to your meal for just 50p and after 3 to 5 mins(yes, that's how long it takes to prepare a burrito there) grab a seat inside our out. In the evening enjoy 'corona bucket' - 5 coronas for just 12 pounds plus bowl of tortilla chips.

Would I buy it again? Yes , easily. Would I recommend it? Definitely. For just 5 pounds you get a decent , tasy burrito. Could I ask for more?

I gather there's an established branch of Tortilla in Angel, but this was the first one I'd come across, put forth as a cheery new lunch destination by my colleagues to help ease the transition back to office life in January.

The five of us all like the spicier things in life and with two Americans, one Brit with a taste for all things Latin, one pseudo-American Brit and a Trinidadian to please, a happy table of eaters could have been a tall order for a lesser Tex-Mex chain. Luckily, the burritos and fajitas lived up to all expectations and we found the whole experience to be cheap, cheerful, nicely spicy and very warming. There are also salads, tacos and a possibly quite pointless no carb burrito lacking the key tortilla element.

A medium burrito will set you back £4.60 and with bottomless soft drinks at 40p, you'll happily eat for a fiver whether you eat in or take away. They were doing a roaring trade, and rightly so. Who could ask for anything more?
