Established in 1990, the award winning Naked Turtle has delighted locals with their informal approach to service coupled with seasonally inspired food and drinks. Their award winning head chef, Grant Hawthorne, has created excellent menus with the emphasis on quality and he sources only from the best local suppliers in the Richmond; Sheen and Twickenham area. Most dishes are prepared daily in-house from fresh ingredients with a relatively large number of dishes either gluten-free and/or dairy-free. Grants Chocolate Studded Cape Malva Pudding came 2nd in Restaurant Magazines UK Best Dishes Awards 2006.
With 3 large rooms including a private function room, along with 2 outside dining areas available, the Naked Turtle has catered for numerous weddings, anniversaries, private parties, corporate functions and family occasions. From business breakfasts to fine-dining black tie fund raisers, the manager at the Naked Turtle will be more than willing to assist in answering your queries.
The separate cocktail bar allows you the option of having pre-dinner drinks or after dinner cigars with its late license and both the restaurant and cocktail bar have a permanent display of contemporary art by the celebrated local artist, Ian Heath.
With easy access to both London Underground (Richmond) and South West trains (Mortlake), the Naked Turtle is conveniently situated on Upper Richmond Road West and is serviced by both regular night buses and Taxis.
