Wow. Short of flying to Argentina, I am not sure it is possible to find better steaks in London (though I am very open to being proven wrong!). The Gaucho Grill on Chancery Lane serves up fat, juicy, giant Argentinian steaks, and very little else. If you order a steak, that is all you get - all sides are extra. They cook the suckers to perfection, exactly as I wanted it (I asked for it done "rare-to-medium-rare, with a touch more emphasis on rare", and that is how it came). The wine list is great too, and is naturally geared towards the full, rich reds that go so well with meat. This place is a carnivore's dream. Only downside: it's quite expensive. But worth every penny!

Which type of steak would you recommend then?

I think I had a sirloin, but I don~t (damn - no apostrophes on a Portuguese keyboard!) think you can go wrong with any of them.

Aah, it's cunningly hidden under the "?"! I was looking where it usually is, next to the "Enter" key, and all I could find was the "~".

Niko, have you the steaks at "Le Relais De Venise L'Entrecote", not only they make great steaks and fries, they have this secret near magical sauce which is just wonderful!!! Check out the review done by natharfouche and mine (coming soon)!

Walid, I have not, but next time I'm in London I'll be sure to check it out. Thanks for the tip!
