They certainly put a lot of food on your plate, you just can't finish it all. The waiters seem to be part of the family and it certainly has that feel. The food arrived very quickly and waiters were not too intrusive and of good nature. The price was rather steep but it has to be expected from that area and would recommend it to any one who wants not just a typical good curry but a realy culinary Indian experience. The deserts were wonderful, I’ve never had such delicious sweet dishes in an Indian style restaurant in my entire life. I hope you can one day treat yourself to this award winning restaurant!

This is an absolute gem... The location couldn't be any better.... The staffed throughly greeted us upon our arrival, instantaneously felt welcome for, i myself and my party. They carried on their marvellous service my offering to take our coats and jackets, placing them in an ideal area, away from arbitrary accidents. Swifty welcoming us to our table, where we would spend the rest of our pleasent evening dining. The indian was absolutely wonderful, infact i got my suggestions from this website; User: trusted bot; Lamb Dhansak. oh, lovely..... deinfitely will be going back for more. I had no space for dessert as there was to much food! RECOMMENDED!!!!

Named as one of the top five restaurants in the whole of London by the Evening Standard (March 2006) - Indian Zing is an elegantly simple restaurant launched by the highly acclaimed Chef & Proprietor Manoj Vasaikar.

Manojs name has become synonymous with some of the most creative and exciting Indian cooking and his impressive CV includes time spent in some of the best Indian restaurant kitchens in Mumbai and London.

Expect thoroughly modern Indian food, which nevertheless does not abandon its robust sub-continental roots. Try the Lamb Dhansak with dill, pumpkin, aubergine, tamarind, fenugreek & lentils a parsee favourite in Mumbai; or Prawn & Aubergine Kharkhatla, both showing an admirable lightness of touch.

Dont forget to check out the interesting fusion desserts tandoori figs & apple crumble, which comes with a hot mango & ginger coulis in place of English custard, or multi-grained masala bread & butter pud.

    Chefs Speciality Dish:

    Lobster Balcho

Lobster Tails seared with full flavoured hot sauce and balanced with Goan jaggery and spices, seved with a timbale of spicy semolina - out of this world!
