With recipes changing weekly, Rocket sell a range of fresh ingredients all correctly put together to make a ready to cook meal, with the right amount of each ingredient, all you have to do is cook it. They peel potatoes, grate cheese, and even slice onions for you. All ingredients come in an insulated silver bag and are perfectly preserved, until you get home. Meals are designed for one or two people, and vegetarian dishes are available. Rocket is located just off New Bond Street and opened in December 1999. Since then it has become popular for its modern Italian cuisine. The decor is stylish and colourful and compliments the food that is cooked in an open plan kitchen. The restaurant is spread over two floors and also has pavement seating. Catering for private parties (in two function rooms) is available upon request.

Reviews for Rocket

I would highly recommend Rocket for eating in the restaurant rather than a place to go for drinks as it gets very crowded. However, I have only been on a weekend so it will no doubt be quieter in the week. It has a very cosy feel in the restaurant and the food is fantastic. Try the tuna steaks- absolutely fabulous. The prices aren't too bad either. The restaurant is upstairs so you're not distracted/interrupted by the busy/noisy crowds at the bar. The bar becomes very very busy with extremely limited seating. The staff service is very good- extremely polite and very quick service. I will definitely be returning to this fab place in the centre of London.

Small bar but outside area is great (if it isn't raining!) to sit outside and enjoy a drink. The area is a lovely quiet area in the middle of mayfair which was very cool.

Had the chips which were thick and tasty. We went in the afternoon so it was less busy. I could see it getting hideously busy with the rich media types on Friday and Saturday.

There is a restaurant upstairs but we didnt venture to see what it was like. The staff took a while to serve us but once we had given our card for the tab they were happy to serve us loads.

lovely food, but crowded most of the time(maybe because i went on a saturday.)

Excellent food good for a lunch

Not a bad place. Bar downstairs gets horribly overcrowded and I'm not 1 for trying to fight my way past tightly packed groups to get a drink. However the restaurant upstairs is good and twice the size of the bar - big portions and good simple food. Pizzas are a specialty there!
