Nice Architecture
Had a meeting today at the Conran Grand Café and Bar which is found by the Royal Exchange in the City next to Bank Station. As you enter you find yourself in a closed type plaza surrounded by luxurious shops like Cartier, Gucci, Tiffany's, De Beers..etc..etc, essentially the playground for city traders.
For the architecture and surroundings I'd give it at least a 4. We ordered some coffees and I a hot chocolate which turned out to be ok. The service was reasonable but nothing exceptional. So for service and quality of drinks I'd give it a 3 at best.
Now in addition to being a cafe and a bar you can also sit on the 1st floor and have a lunch or dinner which I haven't yet had the pleasure of trying out.
At probably recommend this place for a coffee as there isn't a huge selection of places in the center of the city which isn't a Starbucks. Try it out and let me know what you think.
