Reviews for Hotel Russell

We stayed at the Hotel Russell for one night and found the rooms to be very small compared to the price that we paid. Dining area was fabulous and breakfast was a full English that we enjoyed. The Hotel Russell overlooks Russell square gardens which have excellent views but there can be quite a lot of traffic around there (typical of most of London however). Staff and lobby area were excellent. The hotel is also very close to Russell Square and Tottenham Court Road tube stations - handy for shopping and theatre breaks. The hotel will also store your luggage for you, should you need to explore after check out time has finished.

A stunning building in a good location - walking distance fromm Kings Cross and Covent Garden.
Breakfast was very good but the room was a little dark and poky - not sure who is given the posh ones in the pictures on the website!
All in all to be recommended though.

Amazing nice bathroom. Can't say the same for the bedroom, unfortunately. The staff were very friendly and helpful though they weren't able to resolve my issue with the heating (the remote control was missing). I had only eaten in the breakfast/dinning room and while the breakfast was good, I won't have paid for it if it weren't company expensed. Room service was fast but not enough choices.

All in all, fine hotel to stay in but the building/decor isn't my style.
