The sort of hotel you go to to really push the boat out. The decor is modern (but classic) and the rooms well designed. Room service is fabulous (no compromising on quality as sometimes happens), and the little extras - for example the DVD library - are fun.
The staff are helpful and respond positively to individual requests, which helps make your stay even more of an indulgence (which it will be at the price - although offers can be negotiated at off-peak times, especially at short notice).
