Great place to meet friends 11th September 2008

The hotel's bar is an excellent venue to recharge your batteries and in a convenient location to meet up with friends.
The hotel itself is an imaginative conversion of the former 'French Hospital'. The rooms are triple-glazed - absolutely essential in this part of Covent Garden, unfortunately.
When I last visited the prices of wines by the btl were not excessive and there was a reasonable choice of modern and classic wines.
The bar can get crowded, particularly after 22:30 on days when all the theatres have shows on.
Service is OK and now it's smoke-free by law, it's suitable for anyone interested in a decent wine bar.
