What Suzanne Tugwell did on my knee: By Colm (Aged 9)

What happened was my brother sat on my knee it was twisted badly I was on crutches for 3 weeks but as soon as I broke it I went to Suzanne who did some painful massage on it. After Suzanne's first treatment I started saying Suzanne didn't help she made it worse but then Mum said you'll see.

The next day my knee still was hurting so badly but it felt better. It wouldn't have been better if Suzanne had not treated it.

It was more agile and flexible and day after day it got better and better and by three weeks Icould walk a day later I could run a day later play sports a day later I was completely normal.

I couldnt believe how quick I was back to normal. If Suzanne had not kept on treating me, I would have never been back to normal in three weeks probably 5 weeks was the probability if Suzanne hadn't kept on treating me.

Also when Ihad a proplem with my neck that's why I was having so many headaches. Two treatments with Suzanne, done. This neck problem had been getting at me for 2 years 2 treatments with Suzanne, dome and dusted.

What do you get when someone pushes you in the lower back the moment you are trying to head the ball in goal?
A nasty cracking on your neck and sharp pain though your back. Now, what do you get if you ignore that and keep playing football every Sunday, for the next 6 weeks? One bad-ass neck injury.
And what do you get on top of that if you spend most of your day hunched over a laptop without a proper screen? Well, you get the whole upper rear part of your body screaming at you that you're an idiot!

So what do you do? Well, firstly you buy a nice 19” widescreen LCD monitor along with a keyboard and mouse and then you try to find a physio.

In case you've missed it this is a personal story. The idiot in the above passage is me.
So yes, I bought the screen and then found a physio 5 minutes walk from house.
I have to say that the cranio-skeletal massage was excellent and the conversation very interesting too (the masseuse is also an artist, she paints and sculpts and generally has a very interesting view of the world).

However, I cannot give these guys more than 3 as my neck still is not fixed after 3 sessions. Yes, maybe I need more I hear you say, but the problem was that on the last visit I did not get a treatment specifically on the injury.

Anyways, the staff there are great and when it comes to massage they really know what they're doing. Plus they're good value at £40/session.
