As I write this, visions of olives and acorn-fed iberico ham are dancing through my brain, spurring me to leave the computer and ravage my fridge for whatever goodies I might have inside.

I was here a couple of weeks ago as part of a wander through Exmouth Market and can say that I sampled just about everything the shop was offering, from dry-cured meats to delicious sheeps-milk Manchego cheese. I am guilty of wanting to sample everything on offer and the store staff were more than happy to provide my rumbling tummy with an afternoon snack as I browsed through the store, knowledgeably interspersing my hand-to-mouth routine with information as to the source of whatever it was that I was stuffing my face.

They initially started out as a wholesale operation in order to supply the growing demand in the UK market for delicacies of Spanish origin, and now have a storefront operation in Exmouth Market and a stall in Borough Market to complement their wholesale operation. Should you visit Borough Market on a Saturday and the weather is good, you can also buy a grilled chorizo sandwich, served with very special roasted red peppers, served from a food stall located just outside of the storefront. It's absolutely delicious and a lovely way to send your tastebuds on a short visit to the Iberian peninsula.

They also stock a a good-sized variety of Spanish sherries and wines, along with cold deli salads, and what looked like mouthwatering, rustic bread.

This is well-worth a visit, and since the weather is so beautiful right now, you'll be hard-pressed to come up with an excuse not to go by and stock up with picnic food and chorizo for your week-end barbecue.
