I've got a friend in Wimbledon, so I pop in to Greggs sometimes, and I've got to admit, it's one of my favourite places for a quick bite or a sweet treat.

Greggs is full of lovely sandwiches, baguettes, bagels, pasties, doughnuts, etc. Basically anything made with some type of bread, generally baked.

When I was a child, my mother used to buy me a iced doughnut covered with sprinkles. So I was pleasantly surprised when I found the same type of doughnuts (white icing with multi-coloured sprinkles)still being made today! Of course, there's no reason for them to have stopped making it, but it made me happy all the same.

The sandwiches are very good quality food - great for lunch - and have various different fillings (my favourite being the good old BLT)

I would definitely recommend Greggs for anyone, even if they're not hungry! The smell of it all, freshly baked, will make you hungry anyway. And it's not too expensive!

The good: Greggs has a nice family run, home-made feel, despite being a chain. I particularly like there Cheese & Onion pasty, which you can indulge in for under £1. Their baguettes are very tasty as well, generously filled, with prawn mayonnaise being my favourite, but the chicken and sweet corn is very tasty as well. I don´t actually frequent them for daily fresh bread which is their main service, so I can´t comment, but that´s just because I don’t regularly go to any bakery daily for bread, so it’s nothing against Greggs.

The bad: there can big a long queue during the busy periods

Greggs offers a range of hot and cold foods ranging from sandwiches to sausage rolls.
It continually bakes fresh food through out the day so your food is always hot and ready or eat.
The staff great you with a smile and are as helpful as possible.
Greggs always have different offers on their delicious foods so pop in when you can to get a great deal.
