Waitrose
98-101 Marylebone High Street, London, W1U 4SD
Reviews for Waitrose
If Waitrose hadn't been invented as an alternative to Marks and Spencers food, it would have been necessary to create it. Waitrose ready meals give M & S a good run for their money (although it is not QUITE M & S food, as the adverts state), and there is a far wider variety of other goods.
Traditionally, Waitrose has been one of the most expensive supermarkets, but they have responded well to the price-conscious consumer and the need for more price competition in the current market, and they now do good special offers each month, and publish a leaflet giving details of the month’s bargains. They have yet to match the glories of Marks and Spencers £10 dining for two, however.
Very good venue for excellent fruit and veg, a good variety of groceries, flowers and small kitchen items.
