Been using Walters for about a year now for my food each night, and have never been disappointed with the quality of food I have bought! I would highly recommend this shop for people who enjoy high quality, exciting, byt simple food! The family are excellent at offering advice and suggesting new things to try each evening! I will be using them for many years to come!

My family and I have been shopping in H G Walter for around a decade now and have never been disappointed with the quality of service or food received from H G Walter. The staff are always welcoming, and are always able to assist me with cooking instructions and recipe ideas when planning a simple dinner or a large dinner party.
If visiting H G Walter a must to try is the Aberdeen Angus Scotch Beef, in particular a Sirloin Steak, which will quite simply melt in your mouth. Their sausages are utterly superb and the best I have tried in London. With such a wide selection of different types of sausages available, they are deffinately all worth a try to find your favourite ones! My favourites are the Pork, Tomato, Herb and Garlic!
I could go on and write about all their products, but I really think it would be best for you to visit yourself!
I congratulate the management team and staff, who have obviously worked hard to create this amazing shop, with clear family values and an amazing array of products, delivered with a first class service.

H G Walter keeps winning - Best Butcher in the UK in 2005, I think, Best Butcher in the South East in 2006.
It's just down the road from Barons Court tube, in a small parade of shops, but you'll see it because of the queue out the door.
Their Toulouse sausages are the best for cassoulet, in summer they have a superb range of ready-to-barbecue stuff (if we ever get bbq weather again) and in autumn a good range of game.
Also a range of cheeses and veggies.
But it does come at a price - a large joint of beef for roasting culd be as much as £30 and their organic geese at Christmas are (gulp) about £60. But very very tasty!
