Now that Chinatown is changing for the worse many of the great little supermarkets are going or worse being revamped into some slicked up, no-stock corner shops with nothing but snacks, sweeties and pills. See Woo is the cheapest in Chinatown, some of goods are past the sll by date - check carefully. Other than that they have everything here, a veritable panoply of goodies. In fact the amount of stock here is mind-boggling - they have everything from paper money for burning at funerals to tea, bitter melon, Abalone, sea cucumber, pig tail, fortifying liquors and herbs for soup. Upstairs is nearly always a madhouse, bustling and hustling. Downstairs is more peaceful - not many people go there to by plates, bowls, saucepans and cooking utensils. The entrance is tucked away in the upstairs right hand corner.
