26 Chiltern Street, London, W1U 7QF

Bottlers of Scotch Whisky for over 150 years, Cadenhead's Whisky Shops sell a huge range of malts and blends. This selection includes flavours from the Highlands, lowlands, Speyside, Islay, Orkney and Springbank, in addition to Irish and world whiskies. Covent Garden boasts the only shop in London purely dedicated to true malt whiskies. Over 200 malt whiskies are currently in stock, giving the largest range of single cask, full strength Scottish whiskies anywhere in London. From a bottle of Springbank distilled in 1919 or a Campbeltown priced at seven and a half thousand pounds through to a more modest 10 year old single malt. Many of the whiskies stocked are extremely rare limited editions and some come from distilleries that are now sadly demolished.

Reviews for Cadenhead's Whisky Shop & Tasting Room

Whisky lovers every where should check out Cadenheads.
The Covent Garden Whisky Shop is the only shop in London that sells true malt whiskies. They said that they usually have over 170 or so malt whiskies in stock,so when I went gift hunting I was really spoilt for choice. That did make it hard to pick some thing but the staff were helpful.
If you are looking for some thing individual and unique then this is the place for you.
They never add any artificial colouring to their whiskies to enhance the colour and it is not usual for more than one whisky to be bottled at a time. This means that each malt even from a from particular distillery can offer different flavours. I chose the cambletown malt for my gift and it went down a treat. Will be back to buy a few xmas gifts here very soon, but need to budget for this as it is not cheap here.

The Covent Garden Whisky Shop doesn't just stock the Cadenhead whiskies, it also stocks a wide range of different blends and single malts from other Scottish producers and distillers.
The shop is located on a very prominent corner, near the Covent Garden Piazza and close to the Royal Opera House and Floral Hall.
It has a large selection of miniatures, suitable for both collectors and those of us who might like to try a few single malts but not spend a fortune on several whole bottles.
The staff are helpful and knowledgeable - they're not all Scots, but hey...!
If you like a good selection in a central London location, this shop is wonderful. If you're a price-conscious whisky drinker, you will not find any bargains (unless I missed them....) as prices reflect what you would expect to pay in a premium location.
