Agree 100% with the other reviews for Berry Bros.

This is the place to buy wine - awesome selection and very helpful/ patient staff. The experience alone of setting foot in this historic shop should be a rite of passage for every person who lives or visits London.

For a special treat try their very own Good Ordinary Claret or their Kings Ginger (a must have when out and about in the cold British countryside).

I have been buying wine here for more than 20 years. It is quite excellent. Whilst the core offering is French, Berry Bros have not been afraid to include the New World.
It is worth enrolling in their "wine club"
if you are seeking to try out new things.
The shop is worth a visit in its own right
as it is one of the oldest retailers in London. Also, Texas had its legation close to here when it was an independent country.

Have you asked to see their Customer Book at all. I was lucky to see this a few years ago - it was handled with white gloves it was that old - has signatures from old clients such as Lord Byron !
