If you are looking for a shop that sells chocolate for you to sit on the sofa in jogging pants and stuff yourself silly, this is definately NOT the place to go. The chocolatier at Cocomaya is most definately an artist, and is proud of the work they do! In that respect it is very expensive. At £1.50 for a single chocolate, its far too much of an indulgence for me. I just keep thinking about how many other chocolates i could get for the money. I'm glad i tried it, but i personally won't...

I'm glad i tried it, but i personally won't go back because of the expense. However they chocolates i tried were absolutely mouth wateringly delicious!

Agreed, it's not cheap. In fact, at £1.50 per chocolate you might be put off. Don't be. The chocolatier is a delightful Northern Irish Cambodian who is passionate about his art and will fascinate and delight any passing chocoholics.

If you're after an exclusive gift, you can have a pair of chocolate shoes made to order or several other oddities, all too beautiful to eat but a great talking point.

A word of caution: Don't eat before you go - you won't need to! Fantastic, delicious and oh so beautiful chocolates....

This is a chocolate shop for the fashion set, in two senses. First each piece is beautifully constructed with a range of exotic and subtle ingredients -- they look great! Second, each piece is really small, so if you're someone who would rather have one small taste of heaven rather than a big dose, this is perfect for you.

It's not cheap -- each piece is 1.50 or so. But the people at the shop are very friendly and will often let you try more than a few while you are there.
