All the food at Ottolenghi is made in their kitchens, right below the shops. The Ottolenghi philosophy requires that everything is hand crafted with extreme care and attention, from basic raw ingredients. The croissants, for example, are made in the traditional French way over three days, using French flour and butter. The vegetables are delivered early in the morning from the market to be freshly prepared for the day. This branch has a dining area where you can enjoy their fantastic food.

Reviews for Ottolenghi

Fantastic quality of food and incredibly sophisticated cuisine in a great business model. You won't be able to eat in unless it's sunny so you can enjoy the small tables outside.

Great Tuna and fantastic sweets. Not a great coffee, but I am very picky.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in London. Small portions (meze- or tapa- like)of excellent dishes based loosely on Mediterrannean cuisine. The experience starts with a most wonderful selection of home baked bread with olives (try the one with cheese and chillies... simpoly delightful). I usually go with my partner and we chose dishes each -one starter and one "main". For a more hearty dinner go for 3 dishes each. There is a sharing mentality in Ottolenghi's. Most people sit on the shared long tables (great opportunity to overhear interesting comversations :) and the food is to share with your partner... delightful. It's not a cheap night out, but definitely worth it. By the way, don't miss their breakfast on Sunday morning... one of the best in London.
