  It is one of the best. Ever

  I was disappointed to read the unfortunate experience of the female reviewer. This is certainly not my understanding of this well run and respected establishment.
  I have taken Shish Kebab from innumerable Kebabish houses across London over the past 5 years. The majority proffer fatty, turgid meat which is neither tasty or worthy of the title 'shish'. Now this place is quite something. Check out the Kofte and the Lamb or Chicken shish, and take notice of the quality of that meat, the condition and the cooking of that product. The boys at FHK are passionate and quality is key. There are several kebab houses in this area, yet this place continues to provide great quality kebab at a reasonable price. They offer homemade sauces and are always curious, polite and respectful. I have probably had over 40 shish from here in the past 18 months and I can say with honesty that each one has been delicious. Please give this one a go. If you don't like it - don't go back.

  Never again!

  As a journalist and food critic for a number of publications, I am often asked to review resturaunts ranging from the most ingenuitive in cultural combination to more traditional fast food outlets. When I had the misfortune to enter this particular kebab shop, I was on my own time after a busy day doing paperwork and research and craved something that would keep me going for a while. What I got was a small, greasy looking man who tried to 'chat me up' whilst looking down my top and a ill-flavoured kebab. The food was as greasy as the service and lacked enough taste to be worth the following dodgy tummy. I feel that even offering one star is too generous in this situation. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

  The best kebab i have ever tasted

  i have been to many a kebab shop but never had i experienced the perfect kebab until i walked through the doors of forest hill station kebab. the initial smell of the kebab gave me a clue that i was about to experience something special, and after the short wait my modestly priced kebab landed infront of me. i had a taste and soon found myself shoveling it down my oesophagus it took me little more than two minutes to finish, and as i walked out the door i knew, i had experienced kebab perfection.
  Forest Hill Station Kebab are truely broadening the horizons of south-east london kebaberry.
