Reviews for Soho Theatre & Writers Centre

This is my favorite bar in London. There is a friendly waitress service, and a great theatre to boot! In the middle of Soho, they are general busy, but never totally packed - I've always managed to get a table -pretty much straight away! The prices are reasonable and there is a good list of cocktails to try. There is also a full and varied wine list, which is not badly priced. The selection of beers and spirits are good. I’ve never eaten in the Soho Theatre, but I’ve been told that the food is good too! Nothing about this place disappoints.

A really excellent resource for writers in the capital, London. In a good location, near to tube and bus stops the writers centre for the Soho theatre is a space for writers to come and do what they do best – write! The Soho theatre has made a real long term commitment to new writing and the Writers’ Centre is the hub and manifestation of this promise. New writing produced at the centre can sometimes be seen going on to the main stage of the Soho, either for a limited run, or sometimes even for an extended performance run with top actors. A fantastic resource for Londoners.

We discovered this though my Partner wanting to see the comedian Micky Flanagan and he had a very short run here. They seem to have quite a few comedians and plays, we were very impressed by upcoming events and will definately visit again. The ticketys for everything seem pretty inexpensive, its not too far from a tube, and there are loads of cool places to eat close by.

They have a bar that serves food and the drinks prices were quite good.

Micky Flanagan was appearing in a studio, not the main theatre, this made it a very intimate and entertaining gig.

Highly Recommended Venue.
