Although not in my usual stomping grounds, I really like coming to the Lyric. (This photo is way out of date, by the way.) I've seen some excellent productions here - comedy shows and drama - and am always surprised by how much I like the modern bar and the inside of the main theatre space. It's very grand and feels like an old central London Theatreland haunt.

The bar is reasonable, as are the ticket prices. It’s definitely a draw for those who don’t know Hammersmith very well, and has gotten me out to explore that area. When I came here for the first time, I spotted Neve Campbell during the interval. Proof indeed that it’s a hip hangout worthy of us mere mortals!
