Reviews for Altitude 360 London
I ended up going to Altitude 360 for the iRock4Haiti Brits party hosted by Lindsay Lohan. I had won tickets on Radio one, and was even sent a Limo to attend the party!
I had the most incredible evening, from start to finish. I arrived at 7pm and first walked past the red carpet to watch celebrities coming to the venue. I then went to the Millbank Cinema, where a screening of the actual Brit Awards was shown.
All the guests first had a champagne reception in the bar in front of the screening room before going in to watch the Brits. It was like a film premiere!
We then went to the afterparty - the venue was called The River Room and its obvious why! It was right over looking the river thames and was really really cool with amazing views.
The inside was really modern and sleek and was a great setting for the charity event! I watched Lindsay Lohan arrive at the party which was cool, and must have seen about twenty celebs from off the TV and loads of singers as well.
The party was to raise money for Haiti so when the auction came on I even bought one of the prizes!
A really really cool evening. If I can I want to persuade my office to hold our Christmas Party there.... Would be so cool!
They always say NYE is a let down, but we had the most amazing night at Altitude and I can't wait to go back. The fireworks were truly stunning - it was an exceptional location to view them from. It was very well run, with a delicious buffet and delicious champagne. Thank you Altitude!
This place rocks! I went on the London Eye last year and let me tell you, this was even better! Thanks to all the team, and a special thanks to Charlotte. My brother had a fantastic party and I want to come back for mine!
At the cost of £310 for two tickets, my girlfriend and I chose to spend our New Year's Eve at Altitude 360; after all there were all these great reviews here on the internet and we thought we'd treat ourselves. I now advise people, don't believe the other reviews you read about Altitude 360, they are obviously written by the club promoters and bear no relation to the experience at the venue.
Yes the view is great, but long before the midnight hour arrived, the windows steamed up completely and very little of the fireworks could be seen, which was the whole point of being there. Even constant wiping with anything to hand resulted in immediate re-fogging. The building, which was obviously built as an office, had not been sufficiently upgraded to include heavy duty air-conditioning that could cope with 600 respirating punters. The décor was towards the low-budget chav-tastic end, and barely covers what is a quick, 'paint it all white', office-floor conversion. The staff utilisation and placement was woefully bad:
* What little the ticket price covered in the way of food and drink was swamped in queues of people trying to get them. The champagne that was promised was carver!
* There was no metal detection, no screening, no frisking or patting down on entrance which, considering how close we were to the Houses of Parliament on the night of a very popular western celebration, was a risk.
* The 'bars' where drink was served were temporary bars and therefore added to the general inadequacies shown by the staff. On occasion, the queue was 13 deep. The staff's experience and dexterity in handling the orders was redolent of a 1950s Women's Institute cake competition in a village hall.
* The music - shockingly bad - not just the choice of out-of- date disco hits but the soup-like sock through which the sounds were filtered can hardly be called a music 'system'. It was so bad that I could barely recognise the songs, which when I did, I deeply wished I hadn't. The place and the whole event was like some tragic school disco hosted in an oversized Essex girl's bathroom, surrounded by hopelessly steamed up 60's windows, through which one could pitifully try to gawp at the festivities like a starving freshman with double cataracts.
A big let down, I wish I had gone elsewhere.
My company launch was simply amazing and I have to thank Altitude 360 and their team for a great great job...... The venue is wow wow wow..... Altitude 360 London, along with their sister venue The River Room, offers either panoramic Jet liner views of London, or direct river level views of the Thames and Westminster.
Impeccable facilities and innovative service these brand new, state-of-the-art venues offer an impressive array of event facilities with over 15,000 sq. ft. of space for between 10 and 1200 people. The venue is perfect for corporate events, conferences, cocktail parties, product launches, as well as exclusive dinners and private occasions.
My company organised a product launch here and I can honestly say that if you are looking for a remarkable space and wanting to mesmerise your guests, look no further than Altitude 360 or The River Room.
Altitude 360 located in Westminster London has an amazing view from all of its windows which go 360 degrees around the venue.
We went for a conference there but I know they do launches, parties and even weddings!
The venue is very modern with white marble flooring, and plush leather banquette seating in every window bay.
Their website shows you all the pictures of this amazing venue! www.AltitudeLondon.com
A really cool venue, with banksy pics on the walls and slick, black-leather couches all over the place. I like the "blank canvas" element and the fact the venue can be fitted around almost any event, from weddings to conferences. We attended a cocktail reception for work and the atmosphere was spectacular. The nighttime views of the city are really inspiring. A fantastic evening.
