Canning House is a charity organisation that promotes everything to do with Latin America and Iberia here in the UK. Its also an amazing cultural venue, which Kabula used to host its launch party for the Africa to Brasil event this week.
The venue itself is an opulent Georgian house in the heart of swanky Belgravia. Its a unique option for talks, conferences, cocktail parties and more. Canning House also organise numerous cultural events on a Latin American theme. There's a membership scheme (just £45 per year) which gets you discounts on all their events. They have film screenings, theatre, poetry readings and discussion groups and also a well stocked library that's open to members.
All in all its well worth checking out if you're into Latin America, Spain or Portugal. www.canninghouse.com
