Reviews for Colomb Art

What an ace gallery this is! St Martins College had their 3rd year exhibition work displayed here for a week and it looked brilliant. A really nice space to have lots of different works of art that can appeal to many people of all ages. The man and woman who worked there were really nice and helpful too; I’ve actually learnt a lot about countryside scenes and an artist called Edward Hersey so that’s good on a personal level!

I stopped at this place when something in the window caught my eye as I passing on my way to Oxford Street.

The place was very welcoming and I found that the guy in the gallery was very helpful, even though I don’t really know much about art. He certainly wasn’t snobbish, and was able to give me a lot of information about the work on the walls.

After some deliberation I bought the one I had seen in the window, and was very happy with my purchase; as well as the great piece of art to hang on my wall, I was given some information about the artist to take with me.

I've been past a couple of times since and it’s been different each time. I’ve seen both a sole exhibition for a British artist, and also a new range of varied art on another occasion. It’s worth going to have a look around, there’s no pressure to buy from the staff.

Overall it was very friendly place to visit, with helpful staff, and an interesting and varied selection of art.
