Reviews for Ministry Of Sound

Ok, so its in a rough area and its got a bit of a reputation, but I have never had a single bit of trouble in this club! Yes, I would advise that you get a taxi home from this club - but then as a young woman I would get a taxi home from anywhere at 5 o'clock in the morning!

Famed for having the best sound system in Europe, Ministry certainly does not disappoint. The club has 3 main rooms all playing different but inter-linked music - for example, house in one, garage in another and drum and bass in the other.

The atmosphere is fantastic and they regularly have some of the best and most respected DJ's in their line up.

If you ring up beforehand you can get yourself on the guestlist and save a few quid on the entrance price as well. The drinks arent cheap, but the music is fantastic, the DJ's are fantastic and the crowd is fantastic so it is well worth the extra few quid.

Best night out in London in my opionion - especially on a bank holiday or album release.

This place despite being in a fairly bad area is brilliant place for a mid week rave. Frequently used to go to it on a wednesday night when I was a student at the nearby kings college of london. Drinks here are really cheap, especialy if it is a student night, where 50 shots of vodka are only one pound each, yes i said one pound each. This place has got some very negative press in the past, but it is a great place with great music. The queuing up can be a bit of a pain and also collecting jackets a the end of the night. One thing i like about this place is that you can totaly get lost in there, which is a good thing if you are trying to keep away from certain peopel.
