I have been running few events at Cafe Phillies and I can stress enough the quality of people, food and ambience.

They come from Eastern Europe and made this little place a relaxed and elegant little spot in the overly commercial High St.

Go there and ask for Zico who is a great chap and will let you try some great home made hummous. He also shared some great milk froathing tips which I am now using with my espresso machine, good cappuccino although food and wine list are a the reason to go there.
