Reviews for Buenos Aires Cafe & Deli
I'm a big fan of deli food i could quite easily spend my life eating nothing else, i try not to judge places too easily so i visited this place twice. It is a charming, comfortable place, offering a large selection of delicacy's the coffee was ok but seemed to be lacking something, i expected better from a place like this, the food however was absolutely delicious, but rather on the expensive side, as for the staff, well i think the girl serving me must have been having 2 off days, i say 2 because she was the same on both occasions, she always looked and acted like she was getting ready to serve the next person coming in rather than giving me all her attention while serving me. sorry to say i wont be going back, but the food is nice.
Wont be going here after speaking to rude staff on the telephone.
They seemed to think I was crazy for trying to book a table in a 'cafe', even though there is a restaurant just down the road in Blackheath of the same name and we thought this was another branch.
No incentive to even try the place...
I visited this delightful cafe bar last Saturday.
They have authentic tasting empanadas, excellent cakes and pastries, and even Quilmes beer! The Buenos Aires coffee is basically squirty cream with a shot of espresso and chocolate and wasn't to my tastes, but the subsequent cappuccino certainly was!
A friend of mine who lives in Greenwich practically spends her life in here. It’s a fabulous little local café and delicatessen on one of Greenwich’s loveliest streets. It’s very tucked away so you wouldn’t find it if you didn’t know it was there. We had breakfast there on a Saturday and whiled away a few very pleasant hours reading the papers. I always judge a place by the quality of its Moccha coffee and this one passes the test with bells on. They do delicious pastries and cakes, as well as empanadas, cheeses and cold meats, salads and sandwiches. It’s a really beautiful space – airy and high-ceilinged, with lots of fans, big comfy leather sofas and low wooden tables. You’ll be congratulating yourself on having found it.
