    Over priced, miserable staff

I visited Rendez-Vous for the first time. They have a big range of frozen yoghurts and ice cream as well as cakes and pastries. Now i know its Leicester square but £4.75 for a small scoop is ridiculous especially as the ice cream isn't all that. They had a small waffle and 1 scoop of ice cream for £8.95, a capucinno/ mocha costs £8.95! Ridiculous prices for an average cafe. I noticed the customers were mainly tourists- seems the local stay clear of this place. The staff are unfriendly and miserable. I would not recommend this place- there are far better in London.

Rendezvous makes Hagen Dazs look over-rated. Even though Frozen Yogurt is more of an "American thing" and isn't that popular in Europe, this place is slowly getting more and more popular.

There are +15 different flavors to pick which makes the selection very challenging!!! Everything works like Italian ice cream shops. Just point out to what you want (this, that and that), pay for it, enjoy it. There is no fancy name or menu of any sort. Everything's simple.

If you're not an ice ceam person, there is a good range of cakes and tarts to go crazy for! And of course, coffee, capuchino, etc. But really, how could anyone hate ice cream?!

Now, here comes the part that nobody likes: the prices. One scoop is about 4.75. But one is never enough! Two is $5.75 and three is 6.75. Almost as expensive as a pub meal. Is it worth it? You can't tell until you finish all three scoops!

If Willy Wonka owned an Ice Cream Parlour...

The choice of frozen yoghurt/ice cream flavours here is immense and exciting. So far I've tried the following flavours: Watermelon, Strawberry Cheesecake, Pistachio, Rum & Raisin. So far, the flavour has been intense and well-satisfying. The Watermelon actually tastes like real watermelon and is just as refreshing! Not just sugar and colourings. Frozen yoghurt/ice cream comes in dishes or cones or with waffles. Deciding what to pick can be a bit daunting!

They also sell a selection of cakes such as Cherry Cheesecake (delicious), Apple Tart and Pecan Pie.

The staff are friendly and prone to joke-telling. You can sit down inside and enjoy the relaxed, well designed interior. There are also plenty of seats outside so you can watch the bustle of Leicester Square while you enjoy your fat-free(?) treats.

Prices range between 4-7. I think it's worth it.
