Reviews for Starbucks Coffee

I actually agree with clubby2. I got into the habit of having a coffee on the way to work everyday. I then started having one at lunchtime "just because" and yet another on the way home as i was tired. All that cafeine was great at the start but the headaches started and i had to cut back on my addiction to starbucks. The money it saved me over the month is ridiculous! I can't believe how much i was spending - especially as i was having a cake here and there, plus a sandwich from them at lunchtime. Don't get me wrong, i love starbucks with all my heart, its just too much coffee was getting bad for my health!

Starbucks coffee house at notting hill used to be a favorite until I gave up drinking coffee every day. I still love the aroma of a freshly ground coffee but it started giving me head aches when I drank it regularly, no fault of starbucks though, so only have the ocassional one now as a treat. I loved the frothy topping on my coffee and the syrups you can add are divine, ooh they are so moorish. Still, I really do feel that starbucks are a bit pricey, I mean how much profit do they want. It has saved me loads of cash since I decided to only have one coffee every now and then.

As you will know, Starbucks is an international chain of coffee shops renouned worldwide for its vast number of shops literally on every corner of the world! Many people pretend they don't like Starbucks for this very reason which i think is ridiculous! Because it is a chain, you know exactly what the menu offers and exactly what you will be getting. However, my recommendation is don't just go for the latte or the cappucino, they have many different alternatives here and they are all delicious! Food is also top quality, they sell many light bites with cakes and sandwiches which are also delicious. This particular Starbucks has fantastic service too!

Yes, its another starbucks. A generic franchise which all tastes the same. But thats actually not true. Yes, the packaging is the same but in this Starbucks the biggest difference is the staff. They put a lot of passion into the coffee, which just makes it taste better. The service is without doubt fantastic. Just because there is a big queue, it doesn't mean its slow. Its worth a short wait and the staff can move the queue like nobody's business! Just remember, the queue is there to show you how good they are - everyone goes there! I'd recommend them without a doubt. Chessecake please!

Starbucks is great if you're on the go and need a quick something to eat or drink. Yes, most of the food is overpriced but it tastes very good so you get what you pay for. I always get the hot chocolate with cream as I can't live without it. The staff are always friendly and the tables and floors are spotless. There is often long queues but they do move fast to help you on your way. It is a pity that recently they have sacked lots of employee's as there will be less staff serving therfore even longer queues.

starbucks is the best coffee place going. i heard they cut so many jobs recently, that sucks because i was hoping they would hire me. its a regular visit, on my way to anywhere and everywhere. i have to get a coffee and blueberry cheesecake is just to die for. the service is awesome, dont have to wait long unlike at other coffee shops like cafe nero. the smell of coffee is fantastic.. frappe milkshakes are also amazing. that is all i have to say about the matter... amazing! if u are still a starbucks virgin, you're crazy. get yourself down there asap!!! you dont know what you're missing out on!

I think that if you are a Starbuck fan, you probably have a "default" Starbuck to go to. This is mine for more than one reason.

The first reason is that it is conveniently located near Portobello Road. If I take a Saturday walk through Portobello Road, I tend to start in the North in Golborne Road, go into Portobello Road and end up near Notting Hill Gate.

Now, the second reason is that, although there is a Starbucks near Notting Hill Gate, it is bloody busy on a Saturday and way to small. This Starbuck is right around the corner, a 3 or 4 minute walk west. It has almost always a place left to sit, and offers the same price and products as the other Starbucks'.

Clearly the secret to learn here is to always look in side-streets for hidden Starbucks' because they are way less crowded.
