Reviews for Milk Bar

what a decent coffee place in Soho. This is one of the best coffee shop in London. I love this place and also the music that play in the shop is great as well.

Just like big brother Flat White in Berwick Street this establishment serves excellent coffee whatever your choice may be cappuccino, flat white, macchiato etc.

It is a sad state of affairs that nearby Bar Italia serves such 2nd rate coffee leaving the "New World" to show Londoners how it should be!

Another example of established 2nd/3rd generation Italian families in London serving food , wine and coffee that shames their country of origin !

Milk Bar in Soho is quite an amazing find. Long live the wonderful coffees, food, service, ambience; and even the clientele.

My daughter and I ate and drank our way through quite a few items on the menu - each superb, but it must have been the fab vibe inside that had us almost overstaying our welcome.

"Related" to Flat White on Berwick Street - do patronise both of these wonderful establishments and tell all of your friends too.

When the recession has sorted the chaff from the wheat these two fine 'coffee bars' will still be standing proud and tall!

Next time you're anywhere near Foyles, Soho square or Tottenham Court Road tube - pop in.

I’m dangerously veering away from my elevenses’ cuppa of tea to the Antipodean coffee beverages of either Flat White or Long Black instead.

This latest discovery is due to the review preceding mine, in fact there’s simply no point in dwelling about it because the reviewer’s articulate write-up more than sums everything up about this place. The coffee here is indeed good. Sue, once again, thanks very much for another excellent recommendation.

NB When Flat White at Berwick Street is decidedly full and congested come here instead or vice versa.

One of the hardest things about being an Australian in London is finding a decent coffee, so when I read about a new café that had opened up, owned by the lovely Antipodean people who own Flat White (café on Berwick Street, Soho), I had to go and check it out asap.

Wandering along Bateman Street on a grey, cold, wet summers(!) afternoon, I at first walked right past Milk Bar as it didn't appear to have sign outside (though it may have been hidden by the awning) and kind of looked closed. Thankfully I crossed the road to investigate and realised I must be at the right place.

The café is bigger and brighter than Flat White. The menu seems to be the same - breakfasts, light lunches and snacks, though I wasn't there for food, but to sample the coffee.

Service was very smiley and cheerful, and after ordering and paying for my flat white coffee, I took a seat in excited anticipation. The coffee arrived looking gorgeous, with a slightly wonky 'fern' on top. The milk was perfectly steamed and creamy. A very good coffee indeed.
