cheap and cheerful
Went to Mike's cafe for lunch, was great but small funky place, all the food is home made and the staff well staff as in one waiter and waitress were very friendly, it's a busy bustling place with a no pretentious feel to it especially being in the 'trendy' portobello area, the food tastes good and the portions are large. I had the home made quiche not at all adventurous for some but can be easily made tasteless, but Mike's quiche was great cheesy and packed full of flavour with melt in the mouth pastry. it was served with homemade chips and a salad, bit upset really i couldnt finish the food there was so much of it, and not bad on the wallet being an ex student and all. xxx
