Reviews for Le Pain Quotidien
Light and spacious with pine scrubbed tables, this is like walking into heaven after the scrum on Oxford Street. They do hearty salads around the £10 mark and nice wine - perfect for a lazy lunch, but not great if you're planning a quick stop, as they seem a little understaffed.
I first went to the Marylebone branch of Le Pain Quotidien around three years ago, and marvelled at what a cute, one-of-a-kind little friendly Belgian cafe I'd stumbled across. Now they seem to be sprouting up absolutely everywhere!
I can only imagine that the rest of London's Sunday brunching classes like good (if overpriced)French breads, sweet sticky jams, praline spreads, and coffees served in a bowl as much as I do. Everyone I've taken here who isn't from London loves it too. So - expect them to be a worldwide chain soon, no doubt! Let's hope they retain some of their rustic charm, communal tables and decent coffee beans - I still prefer this chain to Starbucks any day.
Not to bad, but I personally prefer Paul which is close to Le Pain Quotidien
If you want to try how real Belgian waffles taste, but don't want to go to Belgium, check out PQ!
The coffee is soso, but the entire desert menu is really good.
