Found this on here as I was looking for simple healthy place to meet for lunch.. The reviews were spot on (thanks!) & this place is cheap and the food is tasty & healthy. I think they were short staffed so the service was a little scatty but friendly non the less. Highly recommended.

I spent a year working in Brixton and Honest Foods was my favourite spot for lunch. They have daily changing specials which may include organic steak sandwich or artisan BLT, and can sell you a great range of artisan breads and cheeses (including the peerless Stinking Bishop). Just watch out for the potato crisps - they tend to be out of date!

This cafe is a great place to spend a Saturday lunch time. They offer excellent value, healthy food. Expect delicious soups, sandwiches (toasted is recommended), and a wide selection of excellent salads.

Also try some of their juices, like apple, ginger and carrot.

The perfect place to escape the bustle of Coldharbour Lane.
