As a new mother, I was absolutely appalled with the treatment my friend and I received. We checked to confirm it was okay to lunch here with our babies (who were sleeping).
When the babies stirred, before we fed them expressed milk from the bottle, we were met with evil looks from the staff, until eventually the waitress told us that "The chef has told me to tell you to shut your babies up!"
We could not believe it.. The waitress kept trying to take our plates away before we were finished, to try to get us to leave quickly.
So upset and angered by our treatment.. The pasta and pizza was average... I could do better myself.. You have lost a lot of business as I have told all my friends with children to avoid this restaurant with such a hostile environment. No ambience at Ambiente'...

Fantastic food at a reasonable price. They're friendly too and have some great meal deals which never compromise the quality of the food. Love it !

I work in the area and ofter come here for lunch. They have a good deal on for lunch with pizza or pasta and a drink for around £5.50-£6 (can't remember the exact amount). The restaurant is clean and you can see the kitchen while the food is being prepared. However since the seating area is quite small it is always a good idea to book before going. The portions are generous, I couldn't eat a whole pizza so two people are best ordering a pizza and a salad and sharing. Great for veggies as well - try the pasta ambiente, delicious and juicy!

Great value lunch. Excellent food in more than enough amounts. Polite, prompt service who coped with a party of fourteen. Clean, airy restaurant though a little noisy.

Fantastic place, really good vibe.
Its relaxed with a great atmosphere, and the food is very good. Its a mix between Italian and Spanish and the menu is not too big as to let it run away out of control.
