Reviews for Sam's Cafe
Great cafe, love the food
Sometimes in London you will find café’s or greasy spoons which have staff that really are pretentious. However I am pleased to report that is not the case with this one. The staff here are so friendly and polite, and really can not do enough to please you. They are so welcoming and do their job with pride. You never have to wait long for your order either which is fantastic. There is a really good choice of dishes and meals to have and the prices are stupidly cheap. However the amount of food you get is equally as ridiculous! You get so much! It is also cooked perfectly
This is what i like. A huge, and i do mean huge, plate of food at a really cheap price. Thats what you can expect to get at Sam's Cafe. I have been to a fair few cafe's of this nature and have always come out feeling bloated and a little sick because of the fattiness and greasyness of the fry ups. For the first time, i don't feel like that with Sam's cafe. Although the food is fried and griddled, some how they manage to remove the greasyness of it. Now i only feel bloated and sick because of the quantity of delicious food i eat! Their coffee is also good for a cafe (but obviously not as good as a coffee shop!)
Sam's Cafe !!! Oh ... Sam's Cafe !!!!!!!
I went there to expect ... Egg .... Chips ... (Possibly), Sausage .... mushrooms .... and Beans .......... .I was overwelmed to receive" exactly what I ordered !!! Perfectly cooked !! Too the second ..... Amazed. Even had a blob of ketup !
Hidden gem. I shouldn't be telling anyone about this place!
This is what I like to find when walking around London. A quality greasy spoon that isn't pretentious.
The décor in the café is pretty much as you would expect to find, but far from tacky, its actually kinda nice! The cleanliness of the place is also outstanding!
There are other café’s nearby which you may think could be better, purely based on décor, but expect to pay a premium for it without any difference in taste.
Quantity and quality of food here is without doubt excellent, perhaps some of the best I’ve ever had served within a café.
I would thoroughly recommend them!
It's one of my favorite spots in east London. I think I've tried all the caffs in the neighbourhood and many more around the city, and this one is really the best.
Well, it's not a very particular place or historical cafe like the famous E. Pellicci (very close to it) but it has nothing less as it comes to food quality. And it's super cheap.
Highly recommended for typical english breakfast.
