Asolutely brilliant cure for all hangovers.
Great breakfast menu and also for lunch and dinner, but you would have to try one of the breakfasts for sure.
Abviously don't be going to Pedro's for a candle light dinner with your loved one or with your boss for that matter, unless you find that construction site workers and old dears going by the name betty help you along for finding a little romance but if you dreaming of the best hangover cure or simply a bit of TLC comfort food then Pedro's is your place!
Also I love the idea of ordering an orange juice and then a litre glass bottle comes to your table like being back at primary school, same applies for milk.
The custom is very friendly and if you become a bit of a regular they've even been known to remember your name.
Good,Great Irish cooking even though its run by eastern europeans with an Irish heart and this is of course expressed through they're delicious food.
Warning! It's all very well going to Pedro's hungry, but be sure to not order more then you need as the portions are colossal! which is always great and far from stingy, far, far, far.

So enjoy! and as you can tell it suited me well over the years and try to remember that it is a greasy spoon and not the 'Ritz'.

This place is a laxidasial mess.

I'd decided to venture to Pedro's a few weeks ago, upon high recommendation from a "friend", who I am now in the persuit of suing for libel. Upon closing a major financial deal, myself and a party of Japanese City boys decided to "chillax" (as I believe the locals describe it).

For a start, there was no real service to speak of. There was no head waiter to greet us (a small thing, I know, but first impressions count) and the wine menu was lax, to say the least. When we went to the counter (!!!!) to order our food, we explained that we were in a celebratory mood and wished to dine on the most extravagant cuisine the premesis had to offer. The lollygagging troglodite taking our order gave us what I believe is referred to as a "fry-up". Thinking this was some form of European delicacy, my party agreed with great gusto.

What arrived on the plate was, quite frankly, disturbing. A few, flaccid eggs and some forms of meat which I've since been led to believe were called "bacon" and "sausages".

My bacon had hair on it and the sausages were moving. You could even hear the eggs being squeezed out of the chickens in the shoddy excuse for a "kitchen".

We left feeling thoroughly underwhelmed. Bad form, London. You promised the Earth and delivered a mess.

Can you put a price on perfection?
    Current
Apparently, you can. Pedro's have gone and done it.

Despite their t-shirts being grammatically incorrect; this lovable gaff features, perhaps, the very best cuisine in London.

The waitresses are polite, friendly and are all good material as potential brides - if you have the money to marry these days. I did have a favourite, but she seems to have been snapped up already by an eligible chap. Fortunately, the turnover of waitresses is quite high, so it's really just a matter of time before I find a new suitable future bride.

Back to the food. Pedro's must have written the book on the "All-Day Breakfast". They serve it at the perfect temperature, with good portions, a good variety of savoury items and within a decent timeframe. You get an all-inclusive breakfast consisting of:

    Toast
    chips
    Beans
    Hash browns
    Black pudding
    Bacon
    Fried mushrooms
    Fried egg
    Sausage
    Tea/Coffee

    - All for the sum of £5.65! If that's not a bargain, then my names not David Dickinson! For legal reasons, I should point out that it's not in fact David Dickinson or anything similar to it.

Other gourmet options available to the clientèle include:

    Sausage and Mash
    Beans and Mash
    Sausage Sandwich
    Chips
    Chips and Mash
    Toast
    Toast and Mash
    Spam and Mash

Tomato Ketchup and Salt are usually provided a la carte.

There's a strict dress code of no suits or smart, expensive clothing.

All joking aside, Pedro's probably really is one of the best local cafes in London with excellent service and prices.

    Bon Appétit!
