    the place for breakfast!
    Current
this place is great for breakfast, you can choose all the usual english breakfast items. The scrambled egg is perfect as is the bacon. As soon as you sit down you are handed a menu and quickly asked what you would like, they are more than happy to change any of the breakfasts to add or subtract any items you don’t like. The food is served equally quickly and is piping hot. The place itself is simple with and not a lot of space to spare but its well worth it as the prices are reasonable and the food is great (its also good hangover food!). they also do decent tea.

Great food, very relaxing and a great layout. Nice menu and staff. Could do with making a better coffee but other than that thumbs up.

    All Day Breakfast!
    Current
We go to Raoul's quite often and I think its super. I love the decor (wallpaper = good) and find it very comfortable and relaxed.

We have always found the staff to be friendly and efficient, they might not be super chatty but we don't go to a restaurant to talk to the waiter we go to eat the food and what fine food it is.

A super mix of all day breakfast, small dishes and light meals or you can go do the whole 3 course thing. Nice wine list, fresh juices and pretty wicked looking deserts (have yet to taste). Plus plenty of options for vegetarians.

The Notting Hill Raoul's never used to be open for dinner, only breakfast and lunch so check before you trot off at night.

I highly recommend this restaurant/brasserie, try to visit during the week when its nice and quite as weekends can get busy.

*Update* They are now open for dinner! and I agree that they could improve their coffee.

    All about the sausage
    Current
A wise man once said to me, A Full English breakfast is all about the sausage. At 6.95 without tea or coffee, Raoul's full English breakfasts are not bargain basement but yes the sausage passed muster.

What's missing at Raoul's is the warm service and the familiar local faces of the wait staff that went with the passing of Coins. No doubt this place will become 'the' venue of the moment in Notting Hill and I'm sure that Saturday morning, will see the Notting Hill banker brigade out in force but the front of house needs work here.

Service is cold but efficient. My FEB came without tomato or brown sauce, probably early teething troubles but with the over designed interior and unsmiling staff, the mood of the place seemed a perfect compliment to the grey July weather outside.

A wise man once said too me 'A Full English breakfast is all about the sausage'. He was only partly right, 'A Full English breakfast is all about the sausage served with a smile'
