Reviews for Cupcake Emporium

We were visiting London and staying in the Lancaster gate are and me and my husband where looking for somewhere nice to go and have coffee before we explored the city every day and on our second day we came upon the cupcake emporium and we couldn’t have been more thrilled. The coffee’s where really good and according to my husband the blueberry milkshake was fantastic. One thing I will say is one day when they were quite busy they did take 5 minutes to serve us but I think that was because they only had one waiter that day. But overall big thumbs up.

We found this little place completely by chance accompanied by three very stressed out children (long day, hormonal mother, abscence of wii/Ds!) and were blown away by the restorative powers of flights of fancy cupcakes and wonderful rich aromatic coffee.

It was a wonderful step away from reality when tbh I was finding reality sucked!

The staff were a delight, friendly, informative and cheerful.

The premises were clean and fresh and the management obviously care deeply about the type of experience that their customers will have.

It is definately on our list of places we 'have' to go back to (esp according to my cake loving 6 year old!) if only to see what other flavours they have bought out!

Personally, I am hanging out for an almond cupcake, maybe with a few little crunchy bits of ammeretti biscuits in?!!.......

well if you don't ask!

Hope you enjoy it as much as we did - I would recommend it to any parent who is needing to just step back from the manic world of parenting into a realm where you will be treated as a person not just a parent!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I found this place whilst walking to the park from my house. The whole place is decorated in a 1950's dinner style, even the waitress was dressed in 1950's clothes. She had a great look very pin-up like.
They serve really good coffee and they have the usual selection of coffees you would expect but their big achievement is the cupcakes.
I have been to other cupcake places in London and they where good but the cupcakes where not that great, and if they where the places themselves wouldn't be somewhere you would like to sit down. this place is, its just fab!

I recommend it fully.
