Reviews for Market Grill

This Thai run greasy spoon café is located in a surreal bustling market where you might just about bump into Del Boy and Rodney Trotter.

The regular and I daresay, more mature patrons devour the all day full English breakfasts and trad roast dinners. Whereas the younger diners opt for the huge options of Thai influenced Asian one-meal dishes of either rice or noodles. My deliciously spicy Tom Kha Chicken Noodle Soup was suitably chilli hot (perfect as a cold winter’s dish) and coconutty. My companion’s Egg Fried Rice and Chicken Satay, gargantuan in size, was described as very good.

This place is great, cheap beyond belief and betters the ready-made Green Curry options normally found in your local supermarket’s chiller. Bring a fiver with you and be more than pleasantly surprised.
