Luke from Colournation ruined my hair 24th September 2009

I had a cut and colour by Luke at Colournation in Covent Garden and two weeks on I am still avoiding mirrors. My fringe was butchered within an inch of its life and I had some serious steps hacked into my once lovely long hair. I was offered a sweeping fringe and after I made it clear that I wear my fringe very long, I was given a harsh assymetrical botch job ranging from three (yes THREE!) to seven inches! This monstrosity was taken right the way into the length of my hair, disregarding years of growth as he went. The layers were cut in with way too much enthusiasm but not blended and I was left with a ratty tail two inches longer than the body of my hair. To top it all off he then overcharged me. Thankfully, Colournation have great aftercare and went above and beyond to make up for this stylists savage attack on my locks. I was given a valiant rescue attempt free of charge by the lovely Grant who made a real difference. He is a fabulous stylist and did all he could short of sticking it back on. I also received a blow dry voucher and a full refund. Be warned, I'll be wearing alice bands till next summer....
