The Churchill Arms is over 200 years old and has classical and piano music playing in the background. The pub won the 1998 Evening Standard Pub of The Year award. They serve traditional pub food and a choice of Thai food. Catering for private parties of up to 12 guests is available upon request and they also have a bar garden.

    This pub reminds you of the terrific effect that a good host can have on an establishment. I popped in there whilst walking down to Kensington High St and left over 2 hours later! Not short of a word or a joke, Gerry the Irish landlord ensures that all goes swimmingly whilst bustling around serving pristine pints of "London Pride" and taking plates of Thai to tables in the back.

    Noted for its Thai food this pub comes up trumps on the Drink stakes as well and the pub has morphed neatly into an Irish Tavern with all its assorted paraphenalia hanging from the ceiling or nailed to walls as in the old newspaper cuttings, Guinness signs or all the British Prime Minister's from Walpole onwards.
