it had been a good few years since I had been in the waggon,and it will only be a few days, before I return again ,what a friendly well laid out clen pub. their was a down stairs nook with the lions rugby match on that created a terrific atmosphere,my other half was hungry and this pub has a seperate thai restaurant area ,serving food of the highest order ,with a well balanced wine list,this is not your usual pub food !.we then had a nicly chilled beer outside in the garden which is a decking area , sean the manager introduced himself and took time to tell us of the plan he and his company have to improve even futher,on this loverly pub ,I do not live in southgate bu I will be back .good luck to sean and his terrific team
