There have been a few different changes at this site over the past few years but I hope the Grand Union is here to stay. The decor is fabulously glamourous without being pretentious or too trendy. They serve posh burgers and tasty cocktails as well as having a good selection of beer and even a foosball table! They have over 15 different burgers which are about £7/£8 but they have 2 for 1 burgers every day now so it is actually quite good value. I thoroughly recommend the "fired earth burger" which is a spicy beef burger with peppered cheese, jalapenos, rocket and spicy salsa. It's a massive burger, almost impossible to bite into, lol! (sides are extra). This bar is fast becoming one of my favourites and everyone that I have taken there loves it. If you live nearby, it's worth trying it out.
